Just watching Aliens, and realised I've never seen the Director's cut, there's been a deleted scene with Newt's folk being out and about and finding the alien ship....looking forward to seeing the rest of it, one of the sequels that equals the original (actually, I think it excels it tbh....)
Hudson: Hey Vasquez, have you ever been mistaken for a man?
Vasquez: No, have you? |

Still one of my all time fave movies. Just went to see Prometheus and was a wee bit disappointed, thought Ridley Scott would've put the series back on track... oh well, maybe Cameron will do the next Alien movie... |

"I love the Alien films, I haven't seen the non-director's cuts in ages though.
You're in for a treat, Aliens has some very nice deleted scenes later on (although you've passed a lot of them)"
I would have sworn on a 9 inch stack of holy books of your choice that I'd seen the Directors Cut, but soon as I saw Newt and her parents I'm like "No way" (sorry that sounds like a 12 year old, but that's how it was ) Sky plussing it so can watch it again at my leisure
Newt: We gotta get inside. It's gonna be dark soon, and they mostly hunt at night......mostly |

I definately prefer Alien to Aliens, tho I guess it comes down to whether you want a faster paced action movie or a slower more suspense filled horror in space, unfotunately by the time the franchise got to aliens v predator the former was all the studio wanted and that without any real attempt at quality. that was tripe |

Loved Alien; Aliens was better: loved Predator, now trying to sell Predator and Alien vs Sponge Bob Square Pants to Hollywood, but not a lot of interest for some reason |

Would it involve a random cameo from David Hasselhoff where he appears randomly and defeats both groups of Aliens.. a Hoff Ex Machina, if you will?
Alien was great, Aliens(Director's Cut, ofc) even better, Alien 3 was.. alright, but was subjected to studio meddling- would've been interesting to see what David Fincher would've done with it on his own terms, Alien: Resurrection could perhaps have been awesome if they'd stuck to Joss Whedon's script a bit closer than they did, the AvP films... dear God they were awful
