Opened the window and a damn fly flies in....how annoying are they...im now chasing round the bedroom trying to either squat the damn thing or get it back oot the window.....

I had a dirty great big buzzing fly in my flat yesterday.. made me feel all icky and like i wanted to spring clean the place.

We have been warned on TV that Lincolnshire has a plague of flies this year, and I hate them dam things!!!

They mock us with their loud buzzing... Landing on all my clean surfaces but i do feel better when it gets a very up close and personal meeting with a rolled up magazine

Really what ya need is something with a long tongue, that can flick it in and out very quickly with a moistened sticky tip ,...;-)

If you have your door open in the summer, put a pot of lavender by the door it keeps the flies away.

Ive a huge plant pot full of french lavendar right at my back door....the buggera still get in...but windows open too they get everywhere...damn filthy things....

I have the type of screening they have round the pool brought back from america over my windows.. velcro. works well cant stand flies . can get similar from B&Q

Ive a door screen but way too many windows to have screens on those....damn things are yuk....usually the cat kills em and alls good....but was early morn n the bugger flew in thru bedroom window n bugged me....however he/she is now in fly heaven
