Charity calendar

Inspired partially by the inked ladies calendar thread.
As some of you know, I have a bit of a history with breast cancer and am always keen to raise awareness, and money for the various cancer related charities out there.
A calendar is something I've considered a few times, partially cos it's proven to be popular, and partially cos as I have many years experience as a makeup artist and ex portrait photographer, I can put it together, mostly by myself and within a budget.
I think it'd be wonderful to shoot some amazing, tasteful pics of real men and women and put them all together to raise money for a great cause!
We could sell the calendars at clubs aswell as privately to fabbers. And making it would of course be great fun!
Maybe one full of gorgeous women of the lounge and one full of all the hot men we have loitering?
What do you think?
Would you sign up to model?
Would you buy one?
Anyone work in printing?

That's a great idea! I may offer this for those who don't want to be in the calendar but would like some pics for themselves!

There won't be a rejects page, no need, we're all someone's favourite month
Plus, if I do it, it will reflect real people. No airbrushing, won't be all gym fit and perfect skin...it'd be people of all shapes, sizes and ages, beautifully presented in tasteful photographs  |

How would people pay for it. Who would distribute etc.? It seems a lot of hard work? People are wary of buying things via Fab. It's a nice idea if you can do it though. |

I'd set up an online donation page. I wouldn't want any of the money to go through me, and that's the best way to get it all directly to the charity.
Distribution is something I'm unsure of atm, but providing they're not too heavy, postage wouldn't be too expensive and I'd be happy to cover that if needs be.
Definitely hard work, but a lot of fun, and it's for a great cause!
I also love the idea of arranging a big launch party to raise funds, maybe at a club, we could sell the calendars there!
If I do it, there's a lot to think about, details to iron out...more than likely be a 2022 calendar so I could spend next year putting it together slowly and make it awesome |
