Am I right in thinking that there’s a big divide on this site between forum people and others? The forums are lovely and I’ve met and chatted to some lovely people. But people not in the forums appear stand-offing and rarely reply to messages xx |

I've always pretty much treated it as two sites. I'm not really into flirting on the forum and I think having sex with forum people would spoil hanging out here a bit for me. Local chats are much more sexual and very much with a view to meeting. It's not a hard and fast rule though, I have exceptions to both. |

I’m on the forums and I don’t reply to most messages. You can call that stand-offish if you like. But posting in the forums doesn’t make someone more likely to reply. |

I've only just started out in the forums and have enjoyed it. I have had a few folk look at my profile after I comment on things. I think of it as more of an introduction to people and if you like the look of each other then you can take it to the next stage then. |

I can vouch for that... One of the biggest disappointments is the illusion that swingers are welcoming, open minded, friendly and tolerant. I've found more tolerance in the trump won it really website. There is sometimes a bit of fun too... So long as you don't express an opinion. |

Yes there is.
It's a clique.
Post something some forum regular doesnt like and see how quick they go sneaking off to an admin to p.m them and tattle tale.(or they are admin and use their rather unsubstantial power)
A lot of forum regulars are mardier than teachers.
And that's saying something.

Having a conversation in open forum is very different to then taking it to private messages. Forum is just open friendly chat, not an invitation to an inbox.
