Believe it or not I'm actually quite the peacekeeper when out and about. I'm the quiet word in the ear of "please leave coz nobody wants me to lose my shit" kind of person.
I haven't always been that way though. In my late teens I got punched in the back of the head by a dude who mistook me for his girlfriend. Once I got back up it wasn't a pretty sight.
Another time I was in a normal nightclub wearing my brand new white trousers which I was utterly in love with. 2 dudes started fighting, one busted the others nose and my beautiful trousers got splattered with blood. There ended up being 2 busted noses that night.
I don't actually enjoy scrapping, but I will still "gloves off" if backed into a corner. I can't deal with blokes picking on women, dunno, I feel compelled and like it's my duty to protect them. Being in a mentally and physically abusive relationship where you don't fear a punch to the chops anymore will kinda do that to ya. The "ohhh big man thinks he's hard does he?" hits my brain matter and "let's play little boy" takes over.
But yeah, if push comes to shove, they better knock me out first punch and be gone by the time I get up.
