Escape from LA is better imo. For two the reasons!

The basketball scene and what must be one of the best scenes ever put on film... the bit where kurt Russel and Peter Fonda surf the tsunami.

Kurt Russels character is also the inspiration for Solid Snake (Snake Pliskin) in Metal Gear Solid of anyone didnt know.
