I've only gone and missed the bin men. It's the 1st time I've missed them. Can't believe 1stly, I forgot to put the bins out in the 1st place, and 2ndly I even managed to sleep through them this morning.

Climb into your bin and do the rubbish stomp... obviously make sure you're not wearing your best clobber.. there should be plenty of room left in there after..

I hate that so much that I have an alarm on my phone the night before.

If I miss the waste bin I have bags sitting around that the foxes can rip open.

I now have a spare kitchen bin in my garden for extra recycling.

Check for sharp things first.

Yes, remove the half eaten grapefruits.

In the olden days of weekly collections it didn't matter too much but nowadays it's a darn nuisance if you miss them. We put ours out the night before nowadays.

Best job I ever had, only a month when I was a youth and they needed temporary workers. Working outside with a bunch of guys having a laugh, different round every day and a few ‘foreigners’ thrown in for some extra money

The stress I get from my job I sometimes do wish I was back emptying bins again

My waste bin is still weekly. Recycling fortnightly and green waste we have to pay for, so I have no idea when that is.
