Relaxes blood vessels in the body, so that blood can flow more freely around the body. That's the scientific reason anyway.

I take it for poor circulation. It certainly doesn't give erect extremities! When it wears off I think I now understand how a penis feels on come down. It's all a bit strange.

There was a Sex and the City episode about it called Drama Queens - Samantha thought Viagra was great for her, but I wonder if it was a placebo effect.
