Sorry to hear that, OP...
....it's eight weeks ago today - almost to the minute as I write this - that we had to have our beloved cat put to sleep, after having her for more than 18 years...
....I cried more over the following couple of weeks than in all of my 60 years - I never realised how much of a huge hole a small creature could leave...
....but take comfort in knowing that she had a good life while she was with us - it sounds as though you will be able to do the same...  |

Are you gonna get a replacement?
I live on top floor of a block of flats at the moment, so am looking to move to somewhere more practical and will be looking for a rescue dog hopefully x  |

My heart gos out 2 u both . Never gets any easier been there don that got the t shirt .ad 2 av my beloved bull mastiff denzil put 2 sleep on my bday so I know ur pain x stay strong think of all the pleasure x |

I know that, I've had 3 generations of Border Collies, they all live together within my heart

Oh I’m so sorry, it’s truly heartbreaking when we have to say goodbye isn’t it.
Sounds like she’s had a blast and you’ve given her such a wonderful life.

My thoughts are with you. They become a big part of the family
Had to say a final goodnight to my best friend and 4 legged child just over a year ago.
Having never wanted children, he became the child I never had. Still cant bring myself to scatter his ashes.
Miss him every day, even when the weather is at its shittiest and the thought of walking him would not appeal, I'd happily have him back and be out in it now.

I really am so terribly sorry that you have to go through this. I had to do this with my baby and it's so bloody hard, but the right thing. I miss her every day. I don't have children so she was the most pampered and loved dog ever. I miss her every flipping day, even sleep with her blanket after a year. Sending huge hugs to you. I'm actually in tears now just thinking about it. xx |

Oh I'm so sorry OP!
Losing my pupper was one of the hardest things ever. The joy they bring is worth all the pain tho...they leave paw prints across our hearts.
