I know they collect pictures but do they do it to set up fake profiles or put on porn sites?
I hear the term regularly but don't really know what they are. |

I don't know. I hear the term a lot too but if someone asks you for a picture and you send it what do you imagine will happen to it? I think it's naive to assume that anything you publish or send on the internet will be deleted the minute a person has viewed it.
Most people will respect others and just look at the images, others will show them to mates, some will use them on other sites, some will set up profiles with them and all sorts of other things.
If you don't want it out there don't put it on the internet. |

All 3 answers are correct, a picture collector will steal another person's picture to set up a profile claiming to be the person in the pictures.
To put on a porn site and make a profile with it, then I dunno what happens from there.
Others would steal pictures to wank over them at their leisure. A friend of mine had a couple steal her picture once which is odd as she's a single female  xx |
