It’s not a new issue unfortunately. The issue is who/where its exported too and the lack of care given to what happens when it leaves the country.

We have one big bag for recycling here but my ma has to separate it all out into a lot of different boxes one for metal one for paper one for plastic etc and I’ve seen them collect it and they throw it all in the same truck at once so why make everyone go through the arsepain of separating it all in the first place?
