When I was a kid I got sixpence for a tooth does the tooth fairy still exist if so what is the going rate these days

If I've got a £2 coin then one of them. The last one i didn't and he looked quite hard done by when he saw it was only £1.

My two boys were both rewarded equally.... £2 for the first tooth as it's a special occasion then £1 per tooth thereafter.... Non negotiable

We have ours £1. It was a bit awkward when we used to forget, "oh dear, the tooth fairy must of been very busy last night, perhaps she will come tonight".
