I definitely wouldn't call myself a coffee snob, but I do buy beans and mix my own blend as I like a strong dark roast blend.
Are you a coffee snob, do you have a go to coffee brand or blend |

I love a good coffee. I buy beans as often as possible and grind them before whacking them in the coffee maker. Tastes amazing and makes your kitchen smell great.  |

Many, many years ago used to have a shop which roasted and ground beans for you. The smell in there was amazing. They closed due to lack of demand. They'd be making a killing now. |

I wouldn't say I'm a snod I'm just someone with knowledge I worked as a barista and was taught not only how to make good coffee but about blends,beans and roasting this information has made it so I know what I want from a coffee and where not to get it Starbucks they actually burn the beans in roasting |

When I have a coffee I do everything to try and hide the taste e.g. lots of milk, different syrups and ton's of sugar. I don't know why I bother getting the expensive stuff as I never taste it. |

I love good coffee! I have a moca and love having proper coffee. I enjoy the nespresso too for a quick one. But I can definitely tell great coffee from pretty avarage one |

Aeropress, low professional grade grinder, scales/kettle that heats to the right temperature. I buy my coffee as beans on a roast and post model, and have views on varietals and processing/roasting methods.

I love my Moka Pot for making my Espresso in.
I'm impressed with Aldi Colombian Roast Beans at the moment. They have a really dark rich flavour which is just perfect for my taste buds. So I'm deffo not snobby about my coffee. If it tastes good I'll keep buying it.

I love a good coffee, I have an espresso machine and I love it. But I only buy shops own ground coffee as I'm getting through it pretty fast.
Before ordering a coffee in a place I've not been, I always check if it's proper and not a push button one. I ain't paying nearly 3 quid for a push button coffee! Does that mean I'm a snob?  |

Some of their roasts have been known for it, Costa are a nightmare for it too but you can't say every one is as they have several different blends/roasts on the go at once.
It's why I often go for the monthly limited edition roasts or the blonde roast at starbucks. They tend not to be as dark and less likely to be burnt.
I was also barista trained. My coffee all comes from 2/3 local roasters depending on my mood and what I'm looking for. |

If you mean a bean to cup machine. Honestly, for a lot of those machines I'll take it, I'd prefer it if the barista was heating the milk themselves but at least it should be consistent coffee.
The amount of coffee shops with Batista's who don't know how to properly make coffee... Or why they are doing it in a specific way is shocking. |

I have been buying Aldi Columbian coffee for years now. Not the beans but ground coffee, which I just brew in a cafetière. I haven’t found anything that suits me better and it’s literally half the price of brands like Costa or Starbucks. |

Nope, I only ever have a latte once in a while, sometimes it from a coffeehouse.... Sometimes it is at home with microwaved milk and whatever instant coffee we have... They don't taste any different to me |

Does it make you a coffee snob to like a certain type of coffee? I like nespresso for the ease and as I am on decaf at the moment, theirs is the only decaf I’ve found that as good as caffeine |

I don't think it's a bean to cup one coz there's no grinder attached, just the cuppy thing that you put the ground in and then the milk steamer. I've watched a few videos on YouTube, some were shocking they didn't tamp the coffee and there was no crema at all! Not saying I'm a barista or do a good a job as someone trained, but I enjoy what I produce, but for some reason I can't do 2 in a row, after reloading the 2nd cup gets no crema and I don't know why. I'd love to go on a course. |

My partner is like that, so she told me this on day one. I haven't got it wong since.
As for tea. I can't stand the stuff and I do make the mistake on making a bloody good brew: a job for life in some places. Not surprising really, when I used to run the Stillroom in Warnewrs, many moons ago.
And they had extra large Lyons coffee bags too, way back in 1993, long before the Costa/Starbucks invasion. |

Just like Nescafe red top/original/rocket fuel.
No wonder Starbucks try to sell you add ons...it's to hide the taste.
Kenco is my go to, though Nescafe GoldBlend will do, if it's on offer. |

Nope, not at all. I put double cream, sweeteners and sugar free chocolate sauce in mine which basically turns ANY coffee into dessert.
There are some instant coffees I prefer to even the "proper" stuff. And that's coming from someone who has worked for multiple hipster companies using only organic, free range golden beans individually roasted in a fairy's arsehole or whatever. |

Yes, I'm very particular about my coffee most of the time, but not precious about it. I grind my own (ok, that sounds wrong) and I get my beans from On the grind, Square mile or Small Batch. God bless Guatamala is all I can say!! |

I’m happy with a posh instant or a pod.
I had a grind your beans espressocccino machino but it didn’t get used so I slung it out.
The pod machine milk frothers are great. |

On a business trip to the US once, I visited a company that had two cylinders of beans in the kitchen area. The cylinder of caffeinated was labelled "Rocker Fuel", the cylinder of decaffeinated was labelled "Why Bother!" |

Totally , I am getting into Robusta/Arabica mix , Italian imported beans , much higher caffeine than 100% Arabica , But also love Jamacain blue mountain and Rwanda Arabica beans . Bought a burr grinder a while back much better than a blade grinder |

Is the Aeropress worth trying ?"
Aero press is great for camping and makes a decent coffee, you will need a very fine grind or buy the additional metal filter if you want to use coarse grind . If you want a creme though you need to look on YouTube for the upside down / inverted Aeropress technique , it’s tricky but does work. |

I bought 250g of kopi luwak beans at Christmas, ground some up and made a brew.
Very nice.
But to be honest, I doubt I'd be able to tell the difference between them and other, not so expensive, coffee beans. |

I've been called a coffee snob I dont drink instant coffee - to me instant and ground coffee are like two different drinks and I simply dont like the 'burnt' after taste you get with instant.
I like couple of strong tasting slightly bitter coffees first thing in the morning. Later in the day I want something with more interesting flavours. I dont think Im a snob though - I just like coffee.

No I don’t think I am... I’ve had amazing coffee in amazing places all equally as tasty. And coffee steaming away nicely buy a campfire and matches the posh one. But always ground beans please. |

I had the kitchen fefurbed last year and the one thing I really designed it around was having a built in Bosch coffee machine, it’s amazing….. Wi-fi as well, so now I’m experimenting with lots of different beans and they all taste different depending on which type of coffee from the menu selected. I’ve also got into having different syrups as well, so macchiato with toffee & caramel is my go to but every now and then when ya need a blast go for a red eye ……..  |

Not a snob, but when I make my flask for work, I'll use my stove top coffee pot.
But I'll happily drink the ground Aldi stuff, but if I'm feeling flush..... I'll spend £3.50 on a bag of kimbo......I know! I do spoil myself |
