I watched it last night and really enjoyed it. It's definitely going to have me hooked.
I was disappointed in Falcon and The Winter Soldier as I felt it was missing something!! But I absolutely adored Wandavision. I can tell already that Loki will live up to the hype. |

That's because Loki is a better character than Falcon America, and Winter Soldier.
Being a none earth based character it allows the show to have a more unique vibe to it. Do something different, like WandaVision did.
Tom Hiddleston is Loki, he plays the character so well. Both in acting and just screen presence, and in charismatic ability. Don't forget Loki is technically a villain (at least this version of him is/was) and yet we like him. |

Tom is brilliant in his role, absolute perfection. I've always had a soft spot for him. |

I watched it the as soon as it was up and again when the wife got home. I had high expectations but I feel they delivered.
They had a lot of world building to do and a lot of exposition which can drag a show down.
Also taking 2012 loki, a homicidal villian to 2019 loki, a funny anti hero was a big ask but I thought they pulled it off wonderfully.
The vibe, the style are all on point.
I was disappointed at the end because I wanted more. And that's a very good sign for a show.
Owen Wilson was great. He had range. Funny but not a distraction, serious but not a drag.
And Tom.. he's the most charismatic actor around to me. |

I am now really looking forward to the Dr strange movie. Both wandavision and this will lead into it.

Kinda? Kinda hot? As in maybe? Sort of? No. He's hot. Charismatic, playful, like a beautiful shallot with various layers.
Also, so I don't just objectify the lead, it was brilliant. I loved the amusing chemistry between Wilson and Hiddleston, the Easter eggs peppered in the scenes, the general aesthetics of it. Bring on episode 2. |

I agree with you both. I really enjoyed how well the two main characters interacted with each other. They are both very dry but opposites. Obviously both are top actors but I had forgotten how good owen Wilson actually is. He really looks like a beaten down cop. Put a trench coat on him and he might be Colombo.
If I could be any actor I would want to be tom huddleston. And if I could choose an actor to be my best mate I would probably choose owen Wilson. |

We liked it. It was the kind of out there weird we like with a lot of WTF is going on sprinkled on it.
Then again we both love stuff like Doom Patrol (seriously...watch it) and Legends of Tomorrow so weird is our bag. |
