I have no problems with people hiding their profile and have done so myself once or twice.
I have just been accused of being rude and ignorant for even asking to see a guys profile as he wanted to keep it hidden for personal reasons.
He messaged first and I wanted to see his profile before I sent a proper reply.
Is he correct?
Am I being unreasonable? or do others not reply to hidden profiles? |

I wouldn’t reply to a hidden profile but yet peeps can post what they want on a profile and how do you know it’s real!!!

I dont bother doing anything other than deleting anything that comes from a hidden profile, I dont see the point of them contacting me at all if I can't see who they are.
I'm often the same when it comes to face pics as well, attraction is all about the face so do yourselves a favour and send one of you want a response. |

I have never responded to a message or wink from a hidden profile. There's no point getting to the messaging point unless you have a good idea if you could be a match. |

He actually sent a really good message so I politley asked if he would unhide his profile. That's when I got called rude and ignorant.
As a previous reply said it was a lucky escape and his true colours where shown. |

I've no issue with anyone hiding their profile I've done it myself on a few occasions but if someone new messages me I check their profiles before I answer if I can't see their profile I just don't reply. |
