Yes, rain has been forecast most of the week. Some newspapers have been peddling biblical thunder. Meanwhile, I've been out and about and have now got seriously red arms / cheeks / face / ears.
Maybe I should have just taken the advice and stayed home in case of rain? |

People used to complain about the Irish forum being argumentative and how they were off to chat to the lovely people in the lounge.
Every time I come in here now all I can hear is John McClanes "come out to the coast" monologue as he crawls through the air vents in Nakatomi Plaza |

I think it was lead which went in paint - they also made water pipes out of the stuff. But it was okay, you would only drink water which had passed through a lead pipe.
Mercury was for thermometers. In old fashioned hospitals, you did NOT argue with Matron when she stuck a thermometer in your mouth and said "Don't bite"! |

If people focus on one or two threads they will come to the conclusion that the forums have been weird/strange/,unusual, whereas, they haven't been any different than usual, bar one or two threads.
