The one from the species' flowers that suffuse the air with their glorious heady fragrance. Each of the species is distinct but
grandiflora is the one I love, as seen in some of the southern US. |

Actually that’s not strictly true. There’s the British Standard 4800 range 08-B-15 Magnolia, and, errrr, another one.
I remember this from my paint-mixing days. Getting them wrong was a disaster.
