It’s happened but it’s not commonplace, it’s not meant necessarily to be a site to find a life partner so I’d approach it in that context and if it happens, well it’s a bonus.

Of course there is! Meaningful relationships are all about a meeting of minds, as well as a physical attraction. The odds are probably more in favour of finding someone, with whom you are on the same wavelength, on here than anywhere else. |

We met on here almost 8 years ago! Like a Craig David song we met for drinks Friday, shagged all weekend, meal out Sunday, theatre Monday and stayed together almost every day since lol. All far from planned but here we are xx |

Yes I do, you can find love or it can find you anywhere. If you close your mind to that it's very unfortunate. I would say that you have to meet the other person in reality.
You may have everything in common only to find out that the way the drink their coffee and have a biscuit is unbearable. |

I do agree, I guess what I was trying to convey is that we all have to be prepared for our perception of someone and the reality. My perspective was just from the first coffee meeting that's all.
True love does absolutely everything, you just have to manage expectations and as you said, the things little won't matter |

Because the profile of people on here seem to be in general rather cold, in that they seldom show thier face or say much about themselves. Which implies that it's just pure lust and sex. Which I don't deny is nice. But I think a little bit of friendship and love goes a long way.
Years ago a colleague at work met a lady on one of these sites and they went back for sex, and just as he was about to make small talks she told him 'don't say anything, just fk me'. He was so shocked. |

Yes, for sure. I think all the happy couples who met on here prove that it can happen. But I do think you need to meet and spend time with that person to establish if it is love that you are feeling. |
