A young kid. The local had an out door fibre glass tree slide with swings. I thought my dad took us so we could play with other kids…now I realise it was to get us out the way so he could sink a few.

Without parents? It was more of a bar/nightclub and was probably 14 or maybe 15. Hazy memory (probably due to the alcopops and vodka  )
I'm pretty much tee total now, and have been since I was at uni!  |

15, there was a crowd of us and some were 18. I remember putting my 20p in the duke box and waiting all night for my song to be played. They were really great memories.  |

16 - me & me mate looked 18.
My sister's friends told my sister - they kept an over looking eye on me & said there was nothing to worry about cos we were not getting legless. However, my sister (super grass),told my parents. My sister was in her early 20's.
Mum & dad did not seem too bothered. I got a liberal talking to about being sensible & not coming home throwing up.

Working in Hotels for many years, I probably saw all the wrong elements of drinking Society to put me off.
I love the smell of good quality whisky, brandy and liqueur brands.
Plus in Food & Beverage Mgr roles, I would compile menus and related Wine Lists. I had to sample Wines on occasions as part of the selection choices, but spat out every drop. I never swallowed one drop! |

Age 15 with my school mates Morgan and Strawb at the Oddfellows in Chester. We had been to the fair and thought we would chance our arm on the way home. “Three pints of lager please” and trying to contain the excitement when we actually got served |

I was 14, at my brothers engagement party and had never d*unk. When asked what I wanted to drink, I didn’t have a clue but there was an advert that I loved that had just come out on TV.
So in my deepest voice I said ‘Hey, I’d like a babycham’….the whole pub stopped and stared 
So my first ever drink in a pub was a babycham
