I have never been diagnosed with mental health issues. But I know with the things I have been through especially the last 6 years a weaker person may not be here today, but do I say that as a good point or as a bad.
Your mind is clever it makes you want to be strong in front of people but weak when your not with anyone.

You put on a brave face and be strong for others, like acting out the part you believe you should portray in everyday situations.
When alone the act, mask whatever you want to call it doesn't have to be there so you 'break'.

I would not describe the mind as "weak" when alone. That's a negative, self-reinforcing message.
The mind, when alone, is typically (but not always) in a neutral, non-flight or fight state, depending on your circumstances of course. It's often the "true you", not wearing any "masks".
To be the person you aspire to be, that "alone mind" is the "person" you need to make peace with and feel comfortable around.
It's not "weak" per se. It may just not be programmed quite as receptively or obediently as you might like.
The good news is, many techniques can be employed to do exactly that. |

They say that a tree which does not bend in the wind, will break in the wind. I think we all need to bend with the wind a bit, and to recognise that we are bending. Sometimes knowing your weaknesses, and flexing as the pressure builds up, is actually a strength. If we try to always be strong and unyielding whatever the pressure, then we will break. |

We all define weakness and strength differently. I see “strong” people with hard bitter faces, a life of keeping their guard up and I wouldn’t wouldn’t want to be strong like that |

"Absolutely understand. My opinion on this is that if you have one person you can be weak or I prefer to say vulnerable with its ok to put on a strong front with other people."
Totally this! As long as you don’t use that person as a crutch! It’s good to be each other’s confidants x |
