Why do so many amateur vids have the telly or crappy generic dance music on as background noise? I mean I can see why people might have porn on while they're having sex, but daytime news or Kiss FM? |

Because its real life?
I have the telly or some sort of music on non stop all day long from the minute I awake. So do most people.
'Amateur' vids are not to please you, they are recorded because doing that is of intrigue to those involved, which is then shared to others.. And even better... Spontaneous, which is what amateur is all about. Relatable.
Indeed, having sex while porn is playing in the background is weird.
It shows you've obviously planned in advance to rail someone, which isnt really amateur. |

It's weird to me because I don't have background noise on 24/7,it drives me nuts. I prefer to engage with whatever I'm watching /listening to or not have it.
I hardly think having porn on smacks of preplanned sleaze like you imply. Why wouldn't a couple watch it together to get turned on? |

I think people put it on to muffle the moans and screams whether that’s for neighbours or who is in the next hotel room. I agree it sounds shit and spoils the video in my view. |
