So you've had a long day. You're hungry but not any old thing will do! You need your all time favourite.

Be it home cooked, ready meal or take away, what is your favourite comfort meal?

Mine has to be spaghetti bolognese, home made!

Scrambled egg on thick crusty toast or English muffins with lashings of butter. Chuck a bit of smoked salmon on it and it's heaven on a plate.

They say it's the most important meal of the day - I just don't eat it in the morning!

"So you've had a long day. You're hungry but not any old thing will do! You need your all time favourite."

double fried egg and chips

with plenty of salt and pepper and vinegar on.

Or bacon sandwiches, with the bacon fried extra crispy and some fried tomatoes, or failing that a little tomato sauce. Preferably granary bread and low fat/low salt lurpak.

Yummy.

It's an 11am kind of breakfast for me. Brunch? Can we call it a brunch meal?

Home made lasagne, quick & simple. Infact any lazy dish (pasta dish) simple nutritious abd quick.

I dont have micro meals in the house, but do overmake 'lazy dishes' and freeze them for such days
