I am stuck indoors due to a broken arm, which it does say in my update.
Maybe because I am online more I am getting more messages and it seems the majority of males do not read a profile.
One gentleman even has info about getting to know the mind, but sends 4 word sentences.
Then others have so few words on their profile
Is the art of seduction lost with people now? |

I like it, it makes us who put the effort in look better. Not that there's anything in my profile or any messages going out at the moment, but when I do it's a work of art. |

I think everyone should communicate with 4 word sentences. There's a world word shortage at the moment. It would also make for some interesting conversations |

Reading the profile won't help. I always read them.
Then I scroll down and click on their verifications. They are nearly always exactly opposite of everything they just said. They only have a dick pic on display, they have bareback photos up, they have terrible grammar (thought it was a deal breaker).
Not your profile op though, I didn't read that, haven't clicked on yet. But in general and 9 times out of 10 women and men write who they wish they were and not who they are. |

If someone can't take the 2 minutes it takes to read a profile don't give them your time. I don't and haven't for a while now. It has become a pet peeve when the first thing someone asks in their first message is right there for them to read.
It may sound stuck up as someone once said but for me it's also a respect thing. |

for me personal i find it hard get myself across via pm always seem to do better in person have had some meets in a club say if you message me might have not look but in person is total different thing after she read my profile may be I need redo my bio |

I don't think that I ever had any skills in the art of seduction. Or at least I never got the hang of the "chat up", making small talk and coming out with unmeant compliments just with the aim of getting into someones knickers. Maybe though being more of an interesting intelligent person (or as those we can do the chat up would tend to describe me, a geek or nerd) sometimes leads to long conversations on topics of mutual interest and perhaps friendships. And I suppose these days I do tend to buy my own knickers rather than trying to get into those of other ladies |

In my case definitely not, I’m a keeper not a one nighter as my history unfolds. I’m a true to my word person who always sends a well written mail to others, then of course the other persons replies with words actually shorten as mails exchange so I do lose interest in looking at replies. I am well travelled, like fine wine also a pint of lager, enjoy a variety of foods with fine dining and will still have a McDonald’s when driving through. Sports are varied as with topics so plenty to exchange in conversations. If sex is a topic of choice I can also exchange with this as experiences have been many as years have passed. So that’s a short brief explanation of myself. The challenge is to try and seduce me with your replies. |

If you delete everything off your 'Looking for' list it takes you off the searches and massively reduces mail. 
If profile text describes meeting requirements it's not 100% their fault is it. |

It often makes me laugh when I see a comment on someones profile about short messages like 'Hi' and 'How are you' and then you find that they are in fact the worst offenders.
There have been a few occasions where I might have typed out a decent message and I get a one word repsonse.
Each time I respond with a proper sentence, and it's a a couple of words back at best.
And yet THEY'RE the ones who don't like one word messages  |

The art of conversation is lacking on both male and female. I'll put a few sentences close to a paragraph and most not all replys will be five word pushing eight.
