what works for some people won't work for everyone
but the basics are :
- make healthier food choices
- exercise more
- don't expect too much too soon
- do it for yourself and no one else
the last bit is the most pertinent because if you do it for the wrong reasons, you will fall off the wagon
i have a tendency to put weight on very quickly if i don't watch what i eat
i have been much bigger than i am now
i have been a stone or so less than i am now
so heaven knows what size i'd be if i allowed myself to eat what i wanted
also think on that weight loss and exercise is good for your health and mental welfare
it does not make you better looking in many instances (some people look better with a bit of meat on them) and it doesn't make more people like you
losing weight also doesn't equate to having a perfect body. if you have been big, then you are never likely to have a 6 pack. not impossible, just unlikely |
