Ever have "house parties" anymore ?

i used to but lost touch with those who attended and tended to have same folk as i knew it was a good combination.

I dont see many these days bothering

Yeah. They're still popular amongst folks who don't like the outdoors and don't care for the club scene. Lots of advantages over both especially for newish single ladies seeking an introduction to a wider circle of friends.

I used to hold fantastic parties.

Stick a great big curry onwith rice so people could help them selves when hungry, plus nibbly bits.

Everyone bought there own booze and away we went.

Brekkie in the morning for those who stayed over.

hectic but oh so good.

A dozen people, so long as its the right dozen, is fine. Four couples and an assortment of singletons makes the perfect Dirty Dozen

- keeps the washing up down to a reasonable next day task too.

Back of Beyond

Was at one last night, 5 couples and the atmosphere was electric, best 7 hours we have had in a long time. Left for the hotel at 3am this morning, unluckily we had booked that ages ago for a shopping trip. The party invite came along later, otherwise we were alos welcome to stay over and leave anytime this morning.

Now that is a great host!

Oh indeed, I am finding it diffcult to fit them all in to be honest - they ARE being held , certainly in the East Midlands and up North as well as South Wales area but not advertised as much I think. Mind, I am combining from several sites - Does that help?
