"Thank god I’ve gotten up at 5 through out this whole thing
Feel a little jealous of the WFH crowd, but not to much seeing them struggles "
Nahhh WFH is definitely still worth it
Only way I'm up at 5am is if I haven't gone to bed yet |

"Getting up at 6.30am again really hits different when you've gotten used to rolling out of bed and into the spare room at 8.45 "
I get up in work at 6:30 in work to start medication, fall asleep around 11:00pm
Go home after 3 days for the night
Then repeat |

After years of getting up early enough to get two children to school and myself to work followed by years of getting up early enough to get myself to work for 8 I now stay in bed as long as I want to. This means I'm often not even awake until 9 and I bloomin love it |

When I'm on Early Shifts I'm up around 3am.. wide awake an hour before the alarm! going back straight onto 4 Early Shifts after 21days off was a shock to the system |

I'm really worried about going back 5 days and I'm praying that they will allow us a hybrid.
My body clock changed before Covid and being able to sleep longer these last 18 months has made it even harder to get up early.
I feel like a teenager |

Ah I feel for you all folks.
It's a bit crap that a job you can do from home is now taking you 2hours plus more time a day to do somewhere else.
It's not right.......
Hope you all adjust quickly (or your employer's do to homeworking). |

To be fair it has been nice being in an office and socialising with real life humans instead of Zoom pixels. Having meetings face to face has also made things go a lot smoother.
My company is employing a flexible "work from anywhere" policy, but is also heavily implying we should come in 2 days a week... |

Now that would tick a lot of boxes for people I bet.....
I hope it works for you.
Seeing and being round people is good. We are social creatures for the most part.

I worked somewhere for 6 months over lockdowns. Me and my colleagues grew pretty close and had Zoom parties with drinks almost every Friday night. We've never met in real life |

I'm nocturnal, if I let my natural body clock take over. I've been WFH 3 days and in college 2 days (minimal traffic) for most of 2021 and got quite nicely into a routine. Have been in the college 4 days out of 4 this week so far and due to the increased traffic, having to leave home by 07:20 or so. Urgh
Hoping to WFH tomorrow morning, before I go to a funeral in the afternoon but even that's not guaranteed yet |
