Yes, in front of your eyes when you’re reading, but what about when you’re not using them?
I can’t put them on my head because I’m not Sophia Loren, I don’t want to hang them on a chain because it reminds me of Larry Grayson so where does the sophisticated person keep their specs?
I know, it means I’m old |

"I’ve tried them on my head and I’m paranoid they’ll fall off. The optician basically paid one instalment on his car for them
Does having them on the end of your nose work?"
You'll also loosen the legs by putting them on your head... Wait, I mean the glasses haha |

I do the end of the nose thing usually. If I put them down I will only need them again when Ive walked far far away from them. |

"Back in their case otherwise I'll forget where I've left them!"
Me too, but right now I’m changing some light fittings and I need them to see the tiny text on the switches but not for anything else |

In a case on a shelf otherwise I'll never find them
I have 3 pairs which I'm constantly looking for and lenses as a back up |

Don't. I get told off for it all the time. It messes up the frame.. stretches it! |

"An ex gf's Mother asked me to help look for one of her contact lenses one Sunday afternoon..... after about half an hour of frantic searching, she'd only gone and put both of them in the same eye "
I've done that once when I started wearing them.. fair to say I made whole local Specsavers day when we discovered the reason why my eyesight was blurry on one side. |

If I'm cooking & I fnnish what I'm doing, I go into the other room, sit down & watch t.v, fold them up, slide one of the ear part of the frame down the inside of my top whilst the other remains on the outside.
Before I go back to the kitchen to check on food I put them back on!
Other times they are on the arm of the chair where I sit & out of the way from me knocking them off.
When not in use they are left on the mantlepiece so I know where they are at any given moment ready to pop on. No risk of being knocked off! |
