Its the shortage of lorry drivers. No deliveries can be made around the country so they have stolen peoples spare wheels in protest. |

My local independant tyre supplier does a good trade in spare wheels, my latest car had a skinny spare wneel, he obtained a second hand full size wheel rim, fitted a new tyre and did a swap with my skinny which he then sells to people with no spare. You have to check that the spare wheel well is deep enough to take a full size wheel though.
If you have no breakdown cover you will have to buy a Jack and a Wheelbrace. |

Spare wheels are optional extras. The have taken them out to improve the book economy and co2 emissions of the vehicles. Make them more environmentally friendly by taking the spare wheel out  go figure |
