Can't say I've ever given it much thought. Clothes are utilitarian, pragmatic things to me.

When I have seen G-strings or thongs, I just think to myself that they look uncomfortable and impractical and then ponder on the hegemony of the patriarchy which pressures women to wear clothes that please men (mostly).

By saying "That's nice dear", I'm feeding that narrative and I'm culpable in perpetuating it and I feel women deserve better than that.
