Discovered a way to get my daughter to tidy her room. Showed her loads of time lapse cleaning videos on YouTube and it’s a technique some people are using to motivate themselves.
I done it to myself earlier with my ironing then I did it for cleaning the kitchen. There’s just something so satisfying about them to watch everything being cleaned away.
I’m not doing my tree tonight which I was going to but I’m gonna carry on with my cleaning, I’m going full on even the cupboard under the stairs and my kitchen drawers and my airing cupboard.
But they’re my new saviour cos I used to struggle with finding motivation to tidy. If anyone else does, honestly try doing a time lapse video of you doing it, something small to start then it makes you want to do more and do it faster so you can watch the video back. Handy if you’re a procrastinator. |

The guys I’ve had in the last past you’d think it was a time lapse video. Lucky I  fast cummers. One guy nicknamed my fanny MK (mortal kombat) cos of it’s ability to ‘FINISH HIM’ really quickly! |

Done my airing cupboard earlier with a time lapse. Honest to god it’s a game changer. I even put all my bedding sets together, folded them up and placed them inside the pillow case, now everything is just stacked neatly. |

I did the same, just saw a montage of a mouse in their setting up home, no idea where he got the tiny sofa and TV from though. |

That's a good idea. I'll struggle with my teddy fur duvet I think, but I'm going to do that tomorrow.

I can give tips till the cows come home. I know exactly what to do and how to tidy and clean OTHER peoples houses. Just struggle with motivation for my own home.
This time lapse video thing is working for me. I’m racing to get a task done so I can watch it.

I use time lapse videos with work, cool way to show the process of things how it it all fits together. There is a lady on my insta I follow Who makes cleaning look so easy and actually interesting, does it all for free and the houses she goes to are in horrendous states but loves tiling her sleeves up and changing it. Very well executed |

Just set your phone up (I have an extendable tripod selfie stick) aim it at the room or area you’re going to tidy, select the time lapse option on your camera and just get to work. |
