A little knom fact about Barnsley is it has more dogs (four legged variety) than any place in the uk. Have to assume they are great pet lovers. Also have to worry about the minefields on the pavements! |

Much like many towns throughout the UK. some nice places like and some not. Spot on football team though, beat both Liverpool and Chelsea last year. Drank the town dry that month  |

If you go to Cawthorn or Silkstone which are part of Barnsley you will find its kind of a bit more upmarket than most places down south. Guess you cant see all of a town unless you go there a few times. |

Here we go again, wot a load of shite people spout at times. FFS just like the buffet at the pussy possey xmas party, this social is all about meeting like minded people who swing and have fun. Genuine people who are not going for the food or to sightsee. I dont think any of the people who are attending the social are attending for the cultural side of things. So perhaps snide remarks about where people come from just be knocked on the head.
Barnsley saturday night is going to be the best place in the UK as far as am concerned so there
