Maybe 8 years ago you shared with a workmate what you did for fun. Maybe Lorna in reception (names changed) brings it up as a jibe. Maybe you feel embarrassed at your life choices, particularly in a field where sexuality is taboo.

I'm a bit confused. Any display if sexuality is surely inappropriate at work regardless of what's being shared within your inner circle of colleagues.
Work is work and what you do in your private life should remain that. |

"We're talking about maintenance staff showing pictures of BBC or ugly BBW for a 'joke'. Even when I say it's not ok, it's ok as I'm a swinger.
"
If you think it’s inappropriate then it’s fair to say you would prefer not to see / discuss that in work. If it continues then it needs to be escalated.
I know it’s scary and intimidating but it won’t stop unless you take steps to make it so, and if they ignore any civil requests to desist then escalation is the only way.
Work takes up too many hours of our lives to be unhappy (if that’s what you are) |

Doesn't matter whether they are maintenance staff or not, your company policy still applies. Why not pose the question to your boss? |

In essence - You feel Past comments come back to haunt you?
You have every right NOT to to be shown inappropriate material at work, in spite of what you may have indirectly revealed years ago. If you were LBGTQ+ would that give anyone the right to flash dick/fanny pics at you? Of course not. Your sexuality has no bearing on others showing you unsolicited pics. Don't allow your mild embarrassment to be exploited.
Best to begin by telling the offenders directly (via email) you do not wish to participate and find it offensive. If they continue, escalate and use emails as evidence of sexual harrassment.
Being on Fab does not mean you were "asking for it".

Yes this.. Set your boundaries. It's inappropriate to discuss or exploit sexual references at work. Or anywhere else for that matter unless there is mutual consent.

It's not ok. I'd just report them to HR for sexual harasement. Which it is. |

You can conform to the expectations of your role and workplace and be a swinger. You just keep the two very separate....If anything shared is against company policy or offends you then you have every right to speak out about it.
