……,from being a kid?
I just realised that other people took care of my time when I was a young boy in short pants.
You have to be in for 4 o’clock - You’ve get ten mins! - get up, you’ll be late for school! etc. I never needed a clock, time was someone else’s problem
What do you guys miss from kid’hood? |

The magic of everything being an adventure.
The little stream that runs nearby is exactly that, a little stream but when a was young it was a wooded area that had to be explored when ever possible and BMX bikes rode through the water......now it’s just a small stream to a dull man. |

"The energy to run everywhere, to jump on my bike and go out for 8 hrs. The joy of being in your body and having boundless energy to explore. "
I used to run to the shop, to my mates. I never walked. Even today I still get asked, why did you run to the shed? Simply out of habit it might be more if a dad run than a sprint lately |

Lots of things, all that free time to use my imagination and play. Going anywhere as long as I was back by dark.
The thing I miss the most though are the people and family that are no longer here. |

"A sip of water, a packet of crisps and some bogeys was all the nutrition I needed for an energy full day.
If I skip breakfast or coffee I’m a zombie now "
I flicked my bogeys, never appealed to eat them |

Going out in the morning and not returning until your hungry.
Sitting near the iron range in our kitchen watching Mum baking hoping for the bowl and spoon
I just miss the love and feeling like I am in the safest place in the world |

Bike rides, football with jumpers for goalposts, having to be friendly with the lad who owned the football, 6 of us waiting for turns on an Atari, the eeeeee wooorrrrrr eeeeee worrrrr noises as the spectrum loaded a game on tape, finding a porno in the woods and poking it with a stick to make sure it wasn't stuck together. |
