So I have a fear of heights. Yesterday evening I was in London and the escalators for the tube always terrify me (I literally close my eyes and can't look down) anyone else who has a fear of heights feel similar about really high escalators? |

Yarp. In Singapore you can see over the edge of some... And they go 11 floors up.
Lifts less so. It's knowing I could fall that bscares the bejeesus out of me. |

I have a crippling fear of heights. I can't climb more than a few rungs of a ladder. If i feel secure where I am then I'm OK, so planes and escalators don't bother me, but if I feel there's a possibility of me falling then I'm a wreck. Luke |

"Steer clear of Angel tube station then buddy. Those bastards are huge."
Those ones made me feel a bit sick coz I was so at the gradient and height. My mind goes into overdrive worrying someone may fall and knock everyone down like skittles, chaos ensues. |

The first time I saw the escalators for the tube in London I almost had a mild panic attack, but I just held on tight and didn't look down lol.

Read the ads to the side and wait for the gradient to level out then look down. |
