Hand built dolls house, my Dad even put working lights and carpet in it. Relatives bought me furniture to go in it, kept me quiet all over Christmas and all my Christmas money went on more furniture for it

Rainbow roller boots from America! I was the first in my primary school to have actual boots instead of the metal things you would strap to your feet!
My Uncle was awesome! He also got me a zx81 computer which was like living in the future at the time! |

I think my favourite was a twin deck cassette recorder with a Duran Duran tape. I played that over and over, I recorded Top of the pops and the chart show and had many hours of enjoyment from it for years.

One year I wanted my Ninja Turtles toys or an 8 bit Nintendo, I came downstairs on Christmas day open all my gifts and got all of my Ninja turtles which were at the time so hard to get, I really thought that was it until my dad came down carrying all wrapped up my Nintendo...long story short tears were shed. |

I remember getting a ghetto blaster. I had been wanting one for absolutely ages, and my parents told me that they were sorry but it was too expensive.
My heart leapt and I was so overwhelmed when I opened the present and there it was. It's a very vivid memory that still makes me smile. |

Probably the Megadrive I got when I was 10. The Hornby train sets, BMX and Scalextric I got at previous Christmas's were great, but the Megadrive was the one thing as a child that I was absolutely desperate for and felt like the luckiest kid in the world when I got it same with the original PlayStation that came about five years later. |

Two spring to mind.
My first and only bike when I was 7, I couldn’t ride it until New Year’s Day because of snow & ice. I waited until folks left me with an all day baby sitter, told her of course I was allowed out in this weather, I was back 5 minutes later having skidded and gone straight over the handlebars, resulting in black eyes.
Second when I was 9, I got a desk in my room, I was so chuffed with it, had an over shelf and one long draw that had been filed with new sketchbooks and pencils. My little bit of privacy drawing, whilst listening to the little radio my grandparents had bought. |

The MegaZord from the first series of Power Rangers. I was absolutely crazy about the show.
My next door neighbour got the DragonZord and we used to combine them together. |

I had an Airfix plastic SLR rifle that shot little plastic bullets. My brother and me shot most of the balls off the Christmas tree. Parents not impressed. |

As a child nothing, there wasn’t much money, when I was 21 serving in the army, my girlfriend’s mother asked me what I wanted, she got me a train set, the Sergeant Major walking into the block to find the whole troop playing choo choo in the tv room |

"Girls World.....4 weeks later I gave her a hair cut and she looked awful.."
I got my hairbrush badly entangled in mine, at that point I kind of knew I wouldn’t become a hairdresser |
