Hello everyone
we have a big anniversary coming up in just over a week and being more than a little strapped for cash at the moment the plans we originally made for a posh week away have come to naught 
So can anyone give us any ideas for getting a good hotel for one or two nights as reasonably as possible, we've looked at the usual places such as latebookers etc.
PS I don't do camping |

There are a couple of places that do the 'secret' hotel deals. You just need to say where, when and how many stars you want. I know some people have been more than pleasantly surprised at the hotels they have got that way. |

"Yurts. I've been to the ones just outside york and it was amazing. If there is one near you I'd recommend it. Romantic, sexy and secluded. "
Glamping? Do they have showers in the yurt? |

The place I went to had a shower black next to our yurt (30 sec walk) but the shower block also had a roll top bath for two and in another room a jacuzzi!!! |
