My go to thing if I'm feeling down is cleaning, just makes me feel so much better and there's an end result. Hubby will go to the garage and do something or other, also music is another feel good thing for us both.

What's your pick me up thing.

Go for a long walk above anything else. A bit of cake sometimes. Do a bit of baking. Clear the cupboards or the wardrobe of unwanted stuff. Cuddle with the doggie. Ring a good friend for a good natter. Put some nice music on and have a bit of a bop. All helps.

I like to go to the gym. I just put my headphones on, blast some good music and just get in the zone. It keeps me distracted and endorphins are great for improving my mood.

Music and a blanket on the couch. Maybe a nice bar of chocolate whilst curled up watching a film.

It mainly involves food, slobbing around and wallowing

I make time for myself just to sit down and do nothing and get my thoughts in order.

Sometimes I can be an emotional eater and I turn to chocolate or cake.

Majority of the time I head outdoors for a walk with Mr NBVN to talk through my feelings or I go alone for a run to the countryside with my music and forget about my troubles for a few hours.

NBVN x
