Have been - and will be for a bit longer - a bit preoccupied since the weekend with a serious family illness.
Haven't felt in the right frame of mind to post - but as always the contribution of you lovely lot has bought a smile to my face during some miserable hours.
Please keep up the good work and hopefully normal 'Happy Obi' service will resume shortly!!  |

Tough times for a few folks on here at the mo.
Well a few helped me through tougher times, so it's only fair I extend a similar hand

Thanks everyone!!!
Just on a cig break - for some reason the Nhs don't encourage it on site - cant imagine why!
Had my ups and downs over the years with the Nhs but eternal gratitude to them right now. And for you lot and your virtual hugs, cake and all!

I found solace in the lighthearted nature that this crazy place has, even more benefit from the good wishes and offeres from friends i ve met through here,
Thankfully my family troubles are nearly over, i hope yours are too.

Well - might be bowing to his request to "sod off" and stop hogging the nurses attention!
Looks like the humour survived intact! Thanks for all the best wishes - wont be making any definite plans to head home just yet - but think its time to leave the folks alone for a bit now worst fears have past and just be 'on call' for a few days.
Time to catch up on some sleep and try and get back to normality - although not sure when I've ever been that! |
