Feeling when you miss someone.

You're just going about your day and something reminds you of them, it just physically hurts.

It's time for wine right??

Back in Gatwick!

It used to be awful when I went through that last year… not anymore thankfully.

Time and keeping busy are the best healers. Hope you feel better soon. x

Diagonally Parked in a Parallel Universe

I had that feeling, once, when I really missed someone.

I then wrote some words. A musician friend composed some music for the words and recorded it. Still makes my eye leak when I hear it.

You can miss anything. Most folk have experienced loss and you get moments where you desperately miss someone who is no longer with us but sometimes those moments are harder to deal with than other times…mostly when we are alone. The tough moments do pass though..doesn’t mean we stop missing them

And yes you can also miss something. There’s lots of people around the world who miss freedom. I also miss wham bars ..when they had crystals in em

I lost my husband nine years ago and like you say we don’t stop missing them, but this really took me by surprise the other night. Just laid in bed and his last day in hospital was in my mind. It took me to going back in after he had died and seeing him there, warm but still. I just had an overwhelming feeling of Christ, he really did die, and the tears just burst. Proper sucker punch, you know when you feel it in your chest?

It's a strange feeling when you're doing something like wiping down the fridge and their face pops into your head, then you realise you aren't going to be able to talk to them again and it makes you cry.

I remember coming across his train pass as I was sorting through things and thought he’ll never use it again. Strange little things
