Lets hope they win today.

Enjoyed watching them play. There was none of this ego and play acting you get in the mens game.

Im going for a 3-1 win.

"Why does it always have to become a gender thing?! "

It's not a gender thing, the simple fact of the matter is that male footballers are cheating bar stewards that have no respect for the game, each other or the officials. They are unsportsmanlike and set a bad example to kids. Simple as that

Oh, and they're overpaid Prima Donna's

England created a fantastic chance near the end off the half there , a bit more belief and they will create more like that .

Need to control the ball better too , on maybe 3 occasions an England players 2nd touch has been a tackle.

Everytime I watch England it's a good game.

Regardless of the result, this tournament will do for Ladies Football what London 2012 did for hockey.

GB won that and I just hope England can win this and then capitalise and grow the sport even more

Man …. If this is what a country winning at football feels like…. We have to do this more often!!!!

Now I know why they kept talking about 66!!!!

P.s….. why are we not getting tomorrow off as a bank holiday???

I don't really have word as it was such a great game - it didn't need to be a stroll or clean. Both showed their talent, just we (well they), brought it home. Brilliant

I had to go straight out so missed all the cessation on the pitch, bet it was amazing.

GB - Hockey

Eng - Rugby WC

Eng - Cricket WC (men and women)

Eng - Football (today)

All these sporting events have left a legacy and today is no different. Ladies football was already on the up, the rest of us home nations will benefit from this today aswell.

A fantastic day for female sport

Greater London

At my age of 47, we were not allowed to play football until I was in the last year of school.

I have played a couple of seasons of women's rugby, which was amazing. And I regularly play sports.

#this girl can

#equality in sport

OMFG the England team was amazing. And I hope that going forward, this pride in our women continues, and our girls growing up continies, and that they are recognised just as much as men in sports.

Come on England, you were amazing tonight, and the entire tournament!!!!

Well done to the girls. Be proud of your achievement. Hope it inspires lots of girls to take up or stay in sport.
