Is it a ‘meet’ or is it old friends catching up?

couple, us we him her.

Well if it's been 36 years chances are she's not just " catching up on old times"

But I wouldn't push things let her be the one to instigate anything.

She may have just gotten out of a relationship and is taking stock of her life.

you may be right.. I will go in with an open mind and see if there are any signs...I certainly won't be taking the lead or expecting something that may not be there... she says she has become something of a recluse so maybe I am a change to the norm for her .

Have a chat. Bee yourself. Your dick come second. Your emotional state comes first. Pick up where you left off and work through the journey of your lives. You’ll have a good idea of where you both stand at that point then make a decision to make your move (irrespective of what it is)

Go, talk, listen to what she has to say, if you think she might be interested in more ask outright (if you are too) and take it from there. You haven't seen her for 36 years it's unlikely you're going to spoil anything by speaking out

I will just say that thirty six years is a long time. People change

I like the thought that she maybe wanted to duck you way back then and has decided to tick some stuff off a list

Good luck even if it’s just a friendly coffee and chat.

How did you approach arranging it? I'm assuming you got chatting somehow so just do more of that

She was let's just say a bit of a wild child at school..I dont believe there is an attraction between us as such but for some reason we have managed to be in touch with each other...at the minute I like the idea of meeting over a drink and chatting about how our lives have gone since leaving school..36 yrs is a long time and a lot to chat about..

Just realised it's actually 38 yrs not 36 but I suppose anything over 20 yrs is a lifetime away.
