Its always been a terrible ratio on here but its gettin worse and worse. I bet any woman who joins here must feel like an absolute queen in a dream world they need to start limiting the anount of men who can join IMO before it gets ruined here.

I wouldn't say it's the amount of men but more the type of men. Does the number make it harder to stand out in messages? Absolutely. But it does also mean it's easy to make your profile stand out if the majority don't make that effort.

Just a question for the OP or anyone else if they knew the answer. Has the ratio actually changed in recent times? For all I know the ratio of men to women may have actually decreased... As others have said the ratio of men to women could be 1:50 but it wouldn't guarantee a shag...

I actually think there’s a lot of nonsense (aka fake) profiles on here. The women here tend to be have a sense of entitlement because of this. They put all sorts of criteria on their profiles before you can even talk to them! Such as no face pic and I'll just delete your message, no beards, vwe only need apply, muscular build only etc etc.

If I were to put on my profile, I like slim brunettes, dress size in single figures (i.e. less than 10), firstly this would narrow the field significantly and secondly there would be absolute uproar by the women!

It's not just made up sexist crap. Fab has its own version of this too. Some single female profile actually openly stating that she has over 6000 unread messages in her inbox. Really makes you question the motivations of many Fab users on here, females included.

I have an open, friendly profile with some smiley pics on my dating app and I get loads of matches. Yes, some don’t message but then I don’t message everyone who messages me, either. It’s called personal choice.

The women I have chatted to have all been genuine and looking for whatever fits their lives at the time.

Men get called out for not calling out misogynists amongst us, that even ONE such man existing is a stain on all of us men.

Why can't it work the same way back either? I mean from what I can see online it's usually a given for the most security and space to be given to women to express the most puritanical and exclusive standards/selection criteria for men, but god forbid men do the same themselves. And for many women with such extensive and exclusive criteria for men, I'm often left wondering if their mental image and relationship with men is actually that healthy if they're throwing up so many hoops for potential male suitors to jump through just to get their attention and reply.

Again, utter nonsense. The 1% of women with whom you may have engaged may have given off that impression, but that doesn’t mean you can make statements like “women here tend to…”

The fact is, they are people. Human beings. With preferences and the absolute right to make choices. If they decide to state those preferences on their profile that is up to them and more power to them.

Frankly, if you have a beard and are not vwe, you may not meet the preference of that particular woman, but you’re just as likely to meet those of another.

I wouldn’t mind betting there are women on fab who would love to see a man owning his preferences and openly stating them on his profile.
