We've done this, twice. The first time we were lucky, he was great. The second time, the guy was forgettable.
After that, we decided on a new way to do it. We meet a guy, then if Sally likes him, I try to arrange for the guy to join us in a hotel on a later date, and find her blindfolded. We would leave enough time between the meets for her to not know who it is.
It's not as easy to arrange as one would think!

Well, we tried it again, so the first time must have been okay.
The short answer for the reason it's difficult to arrange is; many single guys are untrustworthy, or unreliable - sometimes both. The long answer is more complex than that though. But to simplify it, to invite a guy to share one of the most precious aspects of my life while she's blindfolded , I need to fully trust him. |
