"The start of 'Up' and Toy Story 3"

Watched "Up" with the children and after the beginning we were devastated. It took us a while to compose ourselves and carry on with the film.

Moon.

When Sam Rockwell finds out all his memories are implanted after talking to his kid. Don't know wether it's his acting or the music score though. Either way it just makes me really sad.

That gets me too, such a great film.

Up, the start and the part where he reads his wife's scrapbook.

The end of Silent Running where the pod drifts off into space with the robot tending to the garden

Brassed Off for me - especially the bit where Stephen Tompkinson comes home from trying to earn a few quid as a kids' party clown to find bailiffs repossessing all his furniture - the sight of him trying to run up the street in clown shoes to stop them gets me every time.

And the knowledge that I'll almost certainly never get my mucky little paws on the lovely Tara Fitzgerald...

The very last scene in schindlers list when the survivors relatives are putting stones on Oscar Schindlers grave always gets me.

In my opinion the best ending to any film I have ever seen. There's a lump in my throat now just thinking about it.
