i work unpaid for animal rescue, last night we had a case in, house broken in mummy dog stamped on until dead 5 pups stolen, police havent been informed so apparantly its a story of a dreamer, ive managed to befriend said bloke where do i go from here ive got got screenshots and police involved? |

People are copying and pasting it onto their facebook wall. This is what i got sent.
A friend's had 5 staffordshire bull terrier puppy's for sale --a man come to view the pup's yesterday --going under the name of peter heartright-- my friend has woken up this morning and all the pup's have been taken from her home in maidstone the mother off the puppy's unfortunately passed away at the vet's with a cracked scull and two broken leg's they think she was stamped on over six time's - but more to the point the puppy's were not ready to leave mum//So if anyone see's or hear's of someone selling 5 pure blue pup's please let me no by comment/inbox--and please please Home check the person and find out more info before telling someone on facebook your address.

i didnt disappearm diamond quoted exactly as it is, ive reprted to police but the bloke whom put the status is saying hes completely innocent, i believe he is very sick, ive been screen shotting alnight and trying to lure him into a trap x |

Whether this story is real or not, as a staffie owner it makes me so sad that this sort of thing may or may not have happened to such loveable dogs indeed any breed of dog.I loathe people sometimes! |

OP are you saying that you saw the post on Facebook, you have been 'tracking ' the person who posted it, and are trying to get evidence that he actually did this ????

Im not even on fb but my mates send me links of whats on there including stories like this and they're mostly made up to stir up a load of fuss
The last one was abut a guy that had a horse farm who has died so all the horses were going to be slaughtered....completely made up and untrue |

oh dear first time ive posted in forums, the story that came in last night was real, its even on kent police, i found out this morning it was a hoax, the bloke that posted it has sent me msgs saying he was lead on and giving names, ive searched these names and they dont appear like he said, yes all info has been passed onto police  |

I've seen hundreds and hundreds of hoaxes on the interwebs but I generally ignore them. I've never thought to waste police time by reporting such nonsense as fact. How very inventive. |
