I wear what I feel comfortable in. If that's Double denim or a black bra with a white top. Or showing my hairy pits in a summer dress. My clothes are always clean and ironed so I care not what others think.

"Some people can rock double denim.
Little denim shorts and a short denim waistcoat look great on some people. "
Agreed. I was thinking short denim skirt with short denim jacket actually. It’s giving 90s!
But also baggy jeans with a short denim jacket and a white T. |

My biggest fashion faux pas occured in the eighties and involved an orange, satin shirt dress, black lace gloves and black patent shoes .
Nowadays I'm blissfully unaware of my offences against style |

"I've always wondered... do black jeans with a blue denim jacket count as double denim?
If so I'm guilty.
Undoubtedly.
So so guilty."
Fuck... that's one of my go to outfits.
But I look good in it?
Bollocks to the rules! |

""Never brown in town", but I think that's bollocks. I love channeling my inner Ken Clarke with a brown suede shoe/suit combo...
(Not that I wear a suit all that often!)"
Hopefully we get to see it as we have set up a forum photo challenge! |

I don’t class anything I wear or have worn as a fashion disaster even tho some people might disagree ..I wear things because I like them or at some point I liked them ..
I prefer to wear things that I like rather than what everyone else is wearing I recently bought myself a shell suit and a sweater shop jumper and I have no doubt when I wear them people including my kids will probably think I’ve lost the plot .. |

That coordination works perfectly well, without any aberration.
Wear a white t-shirt (or top) underneath and with black chukka boots or white court trainers.

I do white trainers, but go black t-shirt. Looks better imo. |

Black or white t-shirt would work far as I'm concerned! |

Nowt wrong with double denim, rocked it many a time. I can remember back in my early 20s, I bought a pair of silky, silver Versace trousers. Even back then they were over £100, what the dickens was I thinking!?! |

Do you still have them, by any chance? |

I sure don't unfortunately. Think they went to a charity shop many moons ago. |

Shame. They will make a great addition to our forum photo challenge this weekend though. |
