Working away from home

How many people on Fab work away from home? Living in hotels in different towns. Am I the only one who wishes there was a way we could all speak to each other and arrange meets?

It’s terrible to think there are people staying in their hotel room who could be having a great time together.

Post here if you live on the road and want to meet others who do the same.

I only turn that on when I’m having a peek. I turn it off again as soon as I’m done looking. It’s usually 9 blokes and 1 couple who have very strict rules about single men

And there was me thinking that the general perception on here from what I read was that blokes have absolutely no rules at all, never mind strict ones.

"Do you mean just for socialising or for 'meets'?"

Actually, both. At least being on here there is something in common.

Have a drink with the 9 blokes .

We used to stay in hotels a lot for Mr N's work, I'd join him for r & r, and there was always two or three bored looking gents in the bar.

We used to be contacted often by men staying in hotels in this area asking if we'd like to meet. It never appealed to us unless they would be likely to be here on a regular basis allowing at least the illusion that we weren't dial a ride . We do chat to a couple of guys who are regularly in the area though, with a view to an initial social

I don't know if others feel the same way but I wish you luck

I’m in that position at the moment. I’m in the same place off and on for months and it would be nice to find someone for regular socials or meets. I’ve had quite a lot of chat but it hasn’t turned into anything concrete.

It depends on exactly where you’re visiting really. When I’m away working in the major cities (London, Manchester, etc) I seem to find people to meet up with. Out in the sticks, not so much …

I should stay more in the cities I visit. It’s easier to park outside of the city
