part of me died a little inside when i listened back to my daughter singing in a video on face book the other day.. she has such a strong west country accent its funny. Id never realized it until i was made aware of it and now i just think 'poor girl' haha |

Well i had that weird phone call the other day where the guy phoned me back to listen to my voice, i still think that was bizarre.

Ive still got a thing for jays voice, its half posh with abit of london its so relaxing and soothing.
There is a guy that i know and hes a rigt alpha male but he just has to ring and say, you awright and my legs go like jelly, its a brummie accent but so sweet.
Then i have a lady brummie friend who im on about a 5 second delay with while i decipher whats shes saying  |

I am fom Staffordshire where we say look not luck, and where theres no r in bath, but because we have done business all over the UK and with peeps from all walks of life, I change how I speak according to who or whom I am talking too
Must say however one does enjoy talking to the posh peeps so long as they speak that way through breeding and not because they're simply pompus prats, Me I'm basically a rate commona  |

I'm a Yorkshireman and proud of it but I'm regularly told that I sound posh. I've even been turned down for meets because apparently I sound far too refined.
On the other hand, I had an ex who was convinced I sounded like an extra from Emmerdale. |

I know the feeling!! Someone even described me as posh when they verified me after a meet!! I think it's only bad if people pre-judge you based on how you sound - rather than how you think and what you do!  |

I am a softly spoken gentleman that has a firm tone when needed. My accent is Cornish Irish Yorkshire west London/Surrey with a bit of Worcester in it lol. Confused I am   |

I agree too , when people ask me where I am from I reluctantly tell them , then they say oh but you sound posh you can't be from there! Grr it annoys me when people judge books by there covers! |

After sneaking down to the scullery after hours, the servants have taught me how to speak in a common way. Dropping aitches has been difficult but I am now getting the hang of it. |
