This year, especially this past week, has been really emotionally tough and I wasn't looking forward to today. I was crying from the moment I woke up this morning. But, a friend came over earlier and persuaded me to go and see Wonka with them. And I'm so glad I did. It's a fantastic film. We laughed so much. And most importantly, it let me forget about all my crap for a couple of hours.
I'm now going for a soak in the bath, get into my pj's, stick the telly on and tuck into the Chinese that's just been delivered - ordered crispy duck pancakes as a treat. Yum!

This year, especially this past week, has been really emotionally tough and I wasn't looking forward to today. I was crying from the moment I woke up this morning. But, a friend came over earlier and persuaded me to go and see Wonka with them. And I'm so glad I did. It's a fantastic film. We laughed so much. And most importantly, it let me forget about all my crap for a couple of hours.
I'm now going for a soak in the bath, get into my pj's, stick the telly on and tuck into the Chinese that's just been delivered - ordered crispy duck pancakes as a treat. Yum!
