I played on the Donkey Derby with Ricky Hatton at Blackpool Pleasure Beach when I was younger. He beat me.. but he did sign our photos of us on the Big One. |

His set at the Taylor Hawkins tribute gig was excellent. I've met the late, great Rik Mayall after a standup show. He was very polite and stood chatting with my friends and me. Had pics and autograph. Much missed. |

I've met and worked with a load of people in the 'biz over the years, as I've been a few films, and some of the biggest arseholes I've met in my life have been among that lot. I still have ties to the industry, so won't name names. Although the revelation about the rotten treatment one gave the ladies in hair & makeup let me shaken and stirred.
The golden rule is that the nicer they are on screen, the nastier they are off.

Guy who played Barry Grant in brookside was in falaraki with a band he performed with and bumped into him in a bar and we ended up joining him for a few drinks sound guy.local football players used to go out in town centre on a Saturday night after a match and bumped into chris kamara a lot when he played for stoke |
